Getting Started
Welcome to FileOnion! This guide will walk you through the fundamental steps to get started with effectively interacting with our services. Simply explore our documentation, understand how to create clients, make requests, and review documentation; it's essential. We have two user roles: Owner and Client. Let's dive in:
Getting Started as a Owner
Step 1: Create New Account
During the account creation process, an OTP is sent to the provided email. We enter this OTP on the OTP screen. Then, the plan screen is displayed. After selecting our desired plan option, we can view the dashboard.
Step 2: Create New Client
Press the Add New button to open a new drawer and begin creating a new client.After creating a client we can then perform editing, archiving, and deleting actions as needed.
Step 3: Create New Request
Press the New Request button to open a new drawer and begin creating a new request. After creating a request we can then perform View, Edit,Archive and Delete actions as needed.
Step 4: View Request From Request Tracker
When the client uploads documents, the request appears on the request tracker, and then we can view it. We have the option to either accept or reject the request.
Step 5: Create Template
We can create templates, and when creating a new request, we have the option to use the templates we have created.
Step 6: Upload Documents
Press the upload button to open a new drawer and begin uploading documents. After uploading documents, we can perform the following file operations: Open, Add to Favorites, Sync to Dropbox, Archive, Rename, and Move to Trash.
Step 7: Create New Member
Press the Add new button to open a new drawer and begin creating a new team member. After creating a team member we can perform Edit member, Archive member and Delete member actions as needed.
Getting Started as a Client
Step 1: Login
When creating a client, we send credentials to their email so that the client can log in and check their status.
Step 2: Viewing Request And Upload Documents
After selecting the client to create the request,send a view request to the client's email, allowing them to view the request, upload documents, and check its status.
Step 3: Check Status
The client can check whether their request has been accepted, is pending, or has been rejected.
